Verse

Verse is a website for passing requests through one's social network. Each user can make a request of another user, as well as accept, decline, forward, or split the requests they've received. The entire chain of the request is viewable as a tree graph so participants can contact each other to ensure everything is getting done. Requests as simple as "play football" can be split into "bring football," "book football field," and "recruit players." Requests as complex as “provide food for my neighborhood” can be split by users into “pick vegetables,” “acquire tractor,” “create distribution network,” and “save seed,” which in turn can be delegated to many participants. Verse can use pre-existing social networks to maintain current supply chains as well as rapidly create new supply chains for underserved communities. Verse stands out from other request-based services by directly displaying the organizational network, as opposed to limiting its viewing with text walls and pay barriers.
